Snowhead Temple: Difference between revisions

All the checks for Snowhead Temple under standard ruleset casual logic.

All the checks below are expecting you to already have Snowhead Temple Access and either have Goron Mask or Zora Mask to get past the large push block at the beginning of the dungeon.

For Boss Blue Warp, Snowhead Boss Warp, and Snowhead Heart Container, logic can change if Boss Shuffle is on.

Basement Floor

Snowhead Main Room Pot

Requirement	Magic Power, Fire Arrow Goron Mask, Magic Power Hookshot
Description	Fairy pot at the basement floor near the switch that resets the center pillar.
Notes	BP3: Hookshot the crate in bridge room to get access to main atrium room.

Snowhead Temple Basement

Requirement	Goron Mask, Magic Power Hookshot, Goron Mask
Description	Floor switch surrounded by lava that only Goron can activate.
Notes	BP2: Hookshot the crate in bridge room to get access to main atrium room.

Bridge Room

Snowhead Bridge Room Chest

Requirement	Magic Power, Fire Arrow Hookshot
Description	Defeat the Freezards in the room in order to spawn the chest.
Notes	Freezards can be slain by Swords, Goron Punch, Zora Punch, Fire Arrow, Light Arrow, and Hookshot. Although eliminating the Freezards from range with Light Arrow, there is no way across unless with tricks such as Zora roll jumping for the chest or long jump across.

Snowhead Temple Bridge Room Ledge Bubble

Requirement	Great Fairy's Mask, Bow Great Fairy's Mask, Hookshot Great Fairy's Mask, Goron Mask, Magic Power, Deku Mask
Description	Bubble right below the platform that leads into Map Chest Room.
Notes	BP1: Standard logic expects to walk over lava to shoot the bubble from below to collect the fairy.

Snowhead Temple Bridge Room Pillar Bubble

Requirement	Great Fairy's Mask, Bow Great Fairy's Mask, Hookshot
Description	Bubble right below the platform that leads into Map Chest Room.
Notes	BP1: Standard logic expects to walk over lava to shoot the bubble from below to collect the fairy. You can just roll jump slash into the area where the bubble is to collect this fairy. Deku Bubble from below can also break the bubble for Great Fairy's Mask collection.

Snowhead Compass Chest

Requirement	SHT 1 Key Access Hookshot, Zora Mask Magic Power, Fire Arrow, Zora Mask
Description	Chest in the same room as two White Wolfos. Left door in the main entrance.
Notes	BP2: Hookshot the crate in bridge room to get access to main atrium room. BP2/3: Zora can climb the block in Twin Block Room to gain access to the Compass Chest Room.

Snowhead Temple Crate

Description	Crate on a high ledge by the cracked wall in the Compass Room.
Notes	BP1/2: Melt the frozen push block and use it to climb the high ledge to the left of the cracked wall and hop over on top of the crate that holds the fairy. Bomb Bag/Blast Mask blows it up giving access while Goron can pound to break it as well. BP3/4: Hookshot on top of the crate. BP6/7: Hookshot the crate in bridge room to get access to main atrium room. Zora can climb the block in Twin Block Room to gain access to the Compass Room.

Snowhead Temple Ice Puzzle

Requirement	SHT 1 Key Access, Magic Power, Fire Arrow Magic Power, Fire Arrow, Zora Mask
Description	Floor switch frozen guarded by a White Wolfos.
Notes	BP2: Zora can climb the block in Twin Block Room to gain access to the Compass Room. There is a trick to press the switch by rolling into the corner that is closest to the Compass Chest. This trick although very similar to a banned trick "Clipping through Ice", it is not the same as you do not clip through the ice but just get recoil back out while trying to press the switch. Depending on equipment, using Hookshot to the torch by the chest to access or Zora gainer.

Pillar Freezards Room

Snowhead Temple Pillar Freezards

Requirement	Magic Power, Fire Arrow
Description	The room before the door that leads to the center pillar switch. Three Freezards and three torches in the room.
Notes	Additional Magic and arrow refills on each side and the bottom of the room. Large Deku Flower frozen by ice serves as a way up without going around.

Description	Usually entered through the gold colored door in the main atrium left between the red and green door. Can be entered through Compass Room with Fire Arrows.
Notes	BP2: Hookshot the crate in bridge room to get access to main atrium room.

Notes	BP2: You would use scarecrow song in order to spawn Pierre to hookshot up to the 2nd floor to Goron Spike across for the Fire Arrow Chest Room.

Description	One entrance is behind a bombable wall in Compass Chest Room. The other entrance is from the second floor Timed Puzzle Room locked door.
Notes	BP2: Hookshot the crate in bridge room to get access to main atrium room. BP2/3: Zora can climb the block in Twin Block Room to gain access to the Compass Room.

Description	Three frozen red rupees checks with stalactites above. Shooting them will grant access. Fire Arrows can also melt the ice.
Notes	BP2: Hookshot the crate in bridge room to get access to main atrium room. Zora can climb the block in Twin Block Room to gain access to the Compass Room. Goron pound and Zora Rangs can also access these checks.

Description	Two small snowballs on the lower ledge and three small snowballs on the upper ledge that require the ice platforms to be cleared for access or Zora Mask to climb up.
Notes	BP2/5: Hookshot the crate in bridge room to get access to main atrium room. Zora can climb the block in Twin Block Room to gain access to the Compass Room. Human Link can gainer in order to reach snowballs 3-5.

Description	Stray Fairy chest behind a hidden wall on the second floor between the Fire Arrow chest room and the iced staircase to the third floor.
Notes	BP1: Jump down from the third floor through the false wall. BP2: Hookshot the crate in bridge room to get access to main atrium room. Playing Scarecrow Song left of the red door in the main atrium will summon Pierre. Hookshot Pierre and the torch above to access 2nd floor. Near the iced staircase, call Pierre again and hookshot.

Description	Defeating Goht will spawn the Boss Blue Warp with the Snowhead Boss Warp check shown inside. Stepping into any Boss Blue Warp will give you this check. It is not the item shown inside the Boss Blue Warp, it is the second item given after.
Notes	Multi-location Check (one per temple)

Snowhead Boss Heart Container

Requirement	Goron Mask, Magic Power, Fire Arrow
Description	Spawns in set locations around the area next to the Boss Blue Warp.
Notes	With the Bow Quick Kill method, you can have the Heart Container and Boss Blue Warp close to the player.

Description	Defeating Goht will spawn the Boss Blue Warp with the Snowhead Boss Warp check shown inside. The item shown inside the Boss Blue Warp is the Snowhead Boss Warp check.
Notes	First item collected is the Snowhead Boss Warp check. The second will be the Boss Blue Warp if you have not collected it in the current cycle.
